I played ESPN Football for approximately 5 hours last night...the presentation of the game is absolutely amazing, its beautiful, I love it....unfortunately I don't play the presentation, I play the game. The game is terrible! The graphics are really detailed and look great, except for the players. They just move really weird. Not realistic looking at all. I have a 61 inch TV, the playcalling is so bad that I can barely see what play I'm picking. They could have made the plays a little bigger. Once you start playing you immediately notice the awkwardness of the players. I ran the ball up the middle with Marshall Faulk and he was stopped after about 4 yards but just kept falling forward and ended up with 10. That wouldn't be so bad if it happend once in a while, but 9 CONSECTUTIVE PLAYS!!! He gets hit at the line and the defender wraps him up, they are both falling down (Marshall is not breaking a tackle...) and he gains 9 to 10 yards everytime. Its gets really annoying. Last year, GameSpot talked NFL2k3 up so much that I didn't even bother to get Madden and last years game was just as bad as this years. They really need to do something with the player models...all the players look retarded when they run. Its not as bad as the Microsoft game---I'm not even going to mention the name of that game---they're player models all have diapers on with strechy shirts. Overall, this game is a FLOP!!! If you like it...Great!! I personally thought this game is trash. Maybe a rental, and that's only to try the first-person view (that's fun for all but 10 min)
