Did I expect there was going to be Heavenly Sword 2 no. No Heavenly Sword 2 from Ninja Theory comes as really no surprise. I really enjoyed playing Heavenly Sword it is just to bad.Sony owns Heavenly Sword if there is going to be another Heavenly Sword it would be exclusive to the PS3 maybe from some other developer. But I am looking forward to play this game I can not wait.

@ FamousCalibur yea your right, i was just saying I hate when that happens.

FamousCalibur 5 pts

@texasjgc there are certain game when that happens it can glitch such as GTA4 and Uncharted 2 and even Final Fantasy games, its rare but still very affective

FamousCalibur 5 pts

Awesomeness is all i can say, this is the kind of game i've been looking forward to

irishkale 5 pts

I bet that the guy being interviewed REALLY REALLY loves Morrisey. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I like Morrissey, too.

texasjgc 5 pts

When the camera comes into contact with other objects in the game they should use transparency to make sure the player can always see themselves in the game as well as what is going on. I hate how objects in some games block you from seeing whats going on just cause your in a certain spot/position....

Theamazing55 5 pts

Trip looks a lot like the protagonist to Heavenly Sword.

the-wayward 5 pts

the combat looks really engaging ...

The_DarKnight 5 pts

I love the look of the game but I think that they might work around the camera movement, is very annoying

singkosiete 5 pts

this game seems promising.. I'm looking forward to this one.. I just hope it wouldn't get repetitive like with the puzzles or how you take on enemies...

1penance1 5 pts

This... looks.... AWESOME!!!! Really? No. I almost fell asleep watching this

flyinhawaiian8 5 pts

@weedster you really need to take another look cause i dont think were looking at same thing cause this is the story that had inspired the original dragon ball so ya there are many similaritys to the show you need to read the book again before you try to school people learn your stuff dude

Weedster_PkR 5 pts

i like it ti is clearly still in progress so some bugs tehre but those willb e fixed. now to the a hole who said it was a rippoff dragon ball are u retarded dude it ahs no similarty to dragion ball they took the story journye to the west and put into a futeristic feelign and soemt wist. journey tot he west has no similarities to dragon balæl u fokking a hole

suvodeep12 5 pts

wtf.......this kind of game also deserve for pc

They definitely retained that stellar animation work from Heavenly Sword. I loved the way trip look when she was running from those bullets lol. This one looks interesting, could be a lot of fun if they can avoid the trappings of the escort mission.

kintama88 7 pts

will probably play this game just because it's based off of Journey to the West. I have been hearing that story since before i could read. It will interesting to see their take on these characters.

GunzaMan 5 pts

this game looks good but is it really a great game i wasnt impressed seems like i will be fighting the same types of monsters trought the hole game in different combinations... kinda boring isnt it?

Nosnitsttam 19 pts

animation looks sweet for the characters. just hope this game is longer than 6 hours

theKOOK413 5 pts

REALLY enjoying the art direction of this! should be a decent solid game! im going to watch this one

BigGhost_AJT 5 pts

I'm pretty amped for this one. The platforming doesn't look like anything earth-shattering but it does look smooth and varied.

cdog5386 5 pts

Gay?....dude, are you 15 years old? I bet you are. Turd. "lol". I love Ninja Theory. Heavenly Sword, although short, was amazing and unique. Its visuals and character designs were incredible, and the facial animations were just sick. Andy Serkis, nuff said. I love the ancient Chinese story of the Monkey King, or Hanuman, and a game based on the timeless story is a great choice. And stop saying "this game looks like a 6 or a 7." Have you played it yet? Do you know some kind of secret knowledge we others do not? Just appreciate getting the chance to see the game in action and learning about its design, gameplay and story. Lay off the naysaying till the game actually comes out yall. Peace everyone.

killzone3456544 5 pts

the game looks like the guy who is being intrevied GAY lol

khimeron13 10 pts

The platforming is like a faster version of Uncharted 2

electronic_eye 6 pts

I'm so sick of having to let a video online buffer completely every time before I can play it smoothly. And then watch it still have problems buffering after that. Ridiculous.

mimicus 5 pts

The controls look a little wonky---like the main character is running underwater. This game is shaping-up to be a 6 or 7.

wiidominance 5 pts

I think i am starting to get annoyed with the heavy urban/emo approach to character design while throwing them in a historical context.

XboximusPrime 5 pts

Is the chick suppose to look like Nariko from Heavenly Sword?

Rizion89 6 pts

Combat looks energetic enough to me, not necessarily brutal, but a lot of high impact for sure. Also the graphics are GORGEOUS. I was amazed by Heavenly Sword back in 07, so I can't expect any less from Ninja Theory. @rawr89 I believe 'ripoff' would be a very improper word choice for your case. 'Ripoff' (in this case at least) is just a belligerent synonym for 'adaptation'. This however, as claimed by the creators, is inspired by Journey to the West, and so they have adapted the story into a new world with its own designs. Having read the novel, I can say that this is no 'ripof'f. This seems to be a very well adapted version with its own unique twist on its world.

DarkFantom1 5 pts

the game looks amazing but they could make the combat a lot better.

DarkFantom1 5 pts

@zovice he's not a monkey thats just his name.

brewed100 5 pts

i wondered what engine they used because (IMO) i'm not a fan of the 'glow' look of the characters. For example monkeys pants have an 'outline', or the colors don't look vivid.. can't put my finger on it. I like that the game seems to have a plot, and the models (particularly of the girl with the expressive eyes/animation/behavior) . If they emote properly it's easier to care. I'll keep an eye on this game...

zowbaid 6 pts

"scarification, the new tattoo" nice!

zowbaid 6 pts

@ rawr89 It IS Journey to the west. It's a video game version of the novel, not a ripoff.

Shamondorf 5 pts

I feel like they could get really creative with this which could make it way better, but this stage demo isn't really showing that

rawr89 5 pts

wow, total ripoff of Journey to the west. a monkey with a staff, his life linked with a monk, when the monk dies monkey will also die, and accompanying her to get to *some place* (dont wanna spoil journey to the west). lol.

realblood33 5 pts

staff is my only weapon, mechs are the only enemy, yes i think i will pass on this, looks boring as hell.

Twin-Blade 5 pts

Camera looks troublesome. Visuals look amazing however.

ChiefFreeman 18 pts

This is a much prettier version of a post apocalyptic future. Theres so much color, and the ruins of New York City look beautiful covered in the moss and vines. The platforming parts look a bit like Uncharted, with the combat of Heavenly Sword. I hope the do more to promote this game, because Heavenly Sword did not sell too great. This game deserves better press.

KoRniTo 6 pts

@Incubus420 At the same time I have to agree with you about games being toned down in it's difficulty, I must say that it's a simple choice my friend: If you don't like it, don't buy it. Nobody is pointing a gun to your head screaming: BUY IT NOW! By the way, I'm really enjoying from what I've seen so far with this game.
