- The Bottom Line:
- "Innovative"
With all that being said it is far from Perfect and have its own issues.
Story --- 90/100
Enslaved tells the tale of a pissed off guy that calls himself Monkey and quite hot teenage girl named Trip, she is a big part in your Journey since she puts a slavery hat on you and you are pretty much do what she says, as they are the heroes of this game they have interested chemistry and some funny scenes but there are not alot of side character here you only meet one quite interesting character called Pigsy but thats it those are the only people you will find throughout your Journey to the west, which is quite good and funny in some parts, other than that there are some great storytelling telling only the ending quite suck a bit.
Gameplay --- 70/100
The combat in Enslaved is quite repetitive and while not my favorite asset of the game there are some great climbing mechanics that sort of reminded me Uncharted and Assassin's Creed, the combat is made of casual fighting and shooting both performed with your staff it gets repetitive quite fast but the game knows when to stop from making it frustrating. Be careful from leaving Trip near enemies since if she dies you also die. One of the major cons of the game is that the game clocks only 7 hours and there is no additional content sure you can replay some chapters and find secrets but that wont add too much to the experience. Also the boss fights in the game are quite fun.
Visuals --- 85/100
Surprisingly the visuals in Enslaved are superb the brightest colors in the game are mostly green and red which is a good mix considering of how the world looks, the level design is also cleverly made and good looking, the characters are also well done, Monkey is a big muscle guy while Trip is hot teenager it sounds dumb but it works well. There are also some visual glitches and frame-rate issues every once in a while.
Sound --- 90/100
Once again surprisingly good, the Voice actors for all of the 3 character are great, the music is good and the sound editing is great. Nothing bad here.
Final Verdict --- 8/10
Enslaved is a unique game, there are almost not similar to this one in the gaming market so if you want great storytelling and likeable characters you should pick the game since it also sounds and looks great, about the gameplay however there are some mixed feelings but nothing serious to ruin the experience.

Enslaved has moments of brilliance, completely restricted by its unsatisfying basic gameplay.

This is how the world will look after the war. The buildings still stand, but they are in a state of ruin. Walls, ceilin

Superb, immersive story and brilliantly written characters make up for average gameplay.
