Great visuals, fluid gameplay, excellent lead characters, a very good story, great acting and good combat. GREAT GAME!!!

Simply put, this was a great game!! Highly enjoyable, with visuals that are very pleasing to the eyes, very fluid gameplay, which for me is always a plus, good engrossing combat, fantastic lead characters, who you grow to love, especially Trip (well that depends on whether or not you're a guy, or on your personal preferences when it comes to these things ;). The character art is also fantastic because Trip instantly became one of the most beautiful faces I've ever seen in a video game, period. Monkey was also really well done, with the voice of Andy Serkis, although I didn't quite understand the need for him to be shirtless all the time, but hey, that's just me!! Oh, and the third main character, Pigsy, who makes his entry in chapter 10, is also a highly amusing character, although he can at times act like a pig. I also really enjoyed the battle sequences, in particular the fights with the giant mechs, the boss fights. The only flaw in the gameplay, for me, was one instance when the audio and video was out of sync. However, other users may experience this more than I did. depending on how lucky or not so lucky you are. As for the story itself, it is quite straightforward for the most of it, in that you have a clear objective of what you're doing, for the first half and then the second half of the game. However I will say that I was a little bit, well maybe more than a little but, disappointed with the way the game ended. I feel the ending (which I obviously won't get into in any detail here) provided for me an unsatisfactory and unrealistic explanation of the core issue of the plot. However, that aside, this still remains a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable game, and one that all hardcore gamers, particularly those of you who love 3rd person games, with a good story, and good character development (including some romance, which I love), should most definitely give a try!!!
