The Total War that Steam killed! If you love TW avoid at all costs..
Why a great game has to be tied down to Steam and so hamstrung with performance issues on release is beyond me. Creative Assembly has always came up with the goods, but they have killed off many of their long term user base with ETW.
Steam simply sucks and sucks resources on an already buggy and overly hungry game. Taking a TW game and marrying it to Steam is like taking the most beautful woman in town and marrying her to the local in-bred, born in the hills. The result of the union is far from pretty...
CA, having had me as a loyal and vocal supporter for many many years has lost another fan with ETW. Truly if you love the TW sries avoid this game like bubonic plague! Also, if CA truly believs that it will deliver better content and updates, have less pirating going on with Steam, then it better check sales figures.. So many of us loyal TW fans have simply given up in disgust at this point. ETW will be my last TW purchase and I have every game and expansion since Shogun TW.
