User Rating: 10 | Elefunk PS3
Elefunk is one of the most unique titles I have ever played. Please bring out an expansion. Its fun, very rewarding and for the engineer in you absolutely perfect. You sit on the edge of your seat as those elephants start crossing your rickety effort of a bridge. Don't give up and think logically and eventually you will crack it. A must for £4.99.

Why is this such a good game? Take some old classics add a great physics engine from the PS3 and of course high defination, jumble it a little with some funky moves. Here in lies Elefunk.

This game suits slighty engineered chellenged adults and very inteligent kids of probably 4 upward. In short its simple, build a bridge that can hold a weighty elephant that has some circus stunts up its sleeve. Make sure you think quick though because those elephants dont like to be kept waiting. The longer you take the less points you acrew. Bonuses are awarded for fast times and effecient use of parts.

There are 3 main part types wood/ girders/ wire. On each set of levels you will have to use one of these or a combination of all 3. It most cases you can save a piece or two however there are levels where you must use the complete compliment of parts.

One level has you bridging 3 expanses, not that simple though because there were 4 elephants each needing their own bridge one below the other. The catch? Not enough pieces to build 12 seperate bridges. So a little crafty use of wire and wood sees you building the strongest suspension bridge known to man.

Every single level I felt had resonably high difficulty with some taking nearly 40 mins to work out how to do it. However over time you learn the tricks of the trade and on the odd occasion (the suspension bridge that actually looked like one) you will get it right first time.

Dont get too cocky because when you hit the fair ground the 3rd or 4th level simply grinds you to a hault. All you have is wire and walkways and not enough positions to fix it. 3 Elephants all traveling opposite directions across huge expanses.

I look forward to mastering it. Enjoy you wont be dis-appointed.
