Little known, yet very fun

User Rating: 9.7 | Einhander PS
It all started when I first recieved a PSX from my parents for christmas. The demo disk included many good games including Jersey Devil, Tomba, and this, my favorite, Einhander. I played the demo through countless times (which only went up to the second boss) and would have played it more had my sisters not broken the disk. Years later I now have the internet at my fingertips and did some research only to learn that it is one of the more popular games for the PS1. Basicly, no one on the internet was selling it for less that $30. A copy came into the store I work at and I bought it on the spot and I'm glad I did.

This game was one of the few amazing games for the PS1. The graphics are clean and very fitting for the limits on the primitiveness of the system. Though it is side scrolling, it is still 3D with great explotions and the detail in destruction of ships is amazingly ahead of its time. The bosses are very cool, and I have yet to beat the game all the way through. You may find that you need to take a break from getting frustrated at repetitive dying to the same boss or mass enemies shooting at you. This is probably the only downside to the game. Other that some frustration, this game is awsome.

But remember, you have to want it to even find it, let alone pay $30+ on it.
