Humorous, fun and addictive, to say the least.

User Rating: 7.1 | Ed, Edd n Eddy: Jawbreakers! GBA
EEaE:J is not what you may expect. It's fun. It's a pretty basic side-scroller starring the three E's. The game features the cartoon's characters, style and humor. Bottom line: The three E's are off to collect tickets for a lifetime supply of jawbreakers. There are several stages, each featuring clever yet limited level design. You can collect items, like the jetpack or slingshot. One big issue is that these are pretty cool items, but there are few places to use them. The Slingshot can only fire at either close range or long range, and is only useful in a few places. The helmet can only break barriers. The jetpack is cool, but your very limited as to what you can do with it. Each character has special abilities, like Eddy's double-jump. These don't help too much. You basicly must get to a goal line before time runs out. The gameplay is simple and repetitive, and can bore you sometimes. But, the cut-scenes are funny and will give you some inspiration to keep playing. Graphicly, the sprites are simple. Most characters have about two shades for each color, sometimes one. The backrounds are simple yet they keep the ed, edd and eddy style. (which is pretty simple) There are many funny lines in this game, like "this blows", that will make you chuckle if you didn't expect them. At the end of the game, the three E's completly break the fourth wall, and it will make you smile. Overall, this is an above average game. Just be prepared for some mediocre parts of the game, and you'll be fine.
