This is a really unique game for the Genesis, and also one of my favorites. You are Ecco, the dolphin (duh). You eat little fish for health, and also have to breathe air. You have two seperate meters for these things which together represents your health. Explore the underwater worlds trying to save all the other dolphins, there's some puzzles along the way and also some levels that can be quite difficult to get through alive. Your only real attack is charging with your semi-pointy nose, and your echo sonar dolphin call. Use these two attacks to kill enemies (like those nasty jellyfish) and remove roadblocks. Also if you use your sonar attack but keep the button held down your echo call will bounce and return to you, allowing you to view a minimap of the area ahead of you. If you've never tried it I'd give it a go, I promise you've never seen anything like it.
