A thinking mans game, where puzzles aren't spoon fed to you, but still managing to with-hold great action and story.

I played this game a few years ago, and loved it, although i don't remember much, i know that i enjoyed it more then any other game ever. At the time, the graphics were just amazing and still are holding strong, the level design is absolutely gorgeous and models don't fall short either. Levels vary from caverns and caves to shallow reef's from raging waterfalls and so on. You will even find yourself in ancient ruins and alien area's. The gameplay is fantastic, centering around puzzles mainly, these puzzles require you to think. Hard and long. I found myself stuck on one for over 4 hours, the answer was more obvious then i would had thought. So you must sometimes look at things from an obvious perspective, don't say "Hmm, no that wont work, it's too obvious" because it just might! The sound in the game is what i adore best, the music is very well implemented giving you the sorta "Aqua" feel to it all, and they don't fall short on the games movie sequences either, that's when they pick up best. Anyways, this game is a classic when you beat it, you'll feel the relief and say "Man, this game was a journey that was well worth it". Without a doubt, my favorite game of all time, i can only wish for a sequel but that would only jeopardize ecco's position as defender of the future! henceforth i give this game a perfect 10! Hanging this adventure game among the hall of legends.
