EA Replay is a well done collection, although it lacks in variety and number like many of its game collection siblings.

User Rating: 8 | EA Replay PSP
EA Replay collects a few “old” games from the somewhat glory days of EA on SNES and Genesis. These games are just 'old' and not 'retro' because some of them are not even ten years old yet. Although the emulation of these games are perfect – the games that have transferred are not that fun to play, and after five minutes, a keen sense of boredom overcomes the gamer. Replay collects fourteen games – three of which are the famed Road Rash series that was so popular and addictive. The series itself, however, does not necessarily warrant purchasing this game collection. Since most of these games are not worth spending more than ten to fifteen minutes on, the collection's value is limited.
Games such as Syndicate are just so boring today, that they seen silly and inane today. While the Road Rash series is a classic, many of the others are not – such as Wing Commander. The games allow you adjust the viewing aspect (16:9 – distorted, or 4:3, the original) but yet controls cannot be altered. There are quite a bit of hints, but the overall extras are not on par with other collections out there. For those who feel the heat on the harder games, you can do mid-game saves. One thing that Replay does a better job of that most is with loading times – nearly instant on most games. For $20 (cheaper elsewhere, online), this collection may be a must have for those who are nostalgic about games such as Road Rash or Polterguy. I do however suggest renting the game first to know if this really does belong in your collection. GRAPHICS: 10/10 (Perfect emulation)

SOUND: 8/10 (Very good sound transfer)

CONTROLS: 9/10 (Controls are fine, in game saves, )

DIFFICULTY: VARIABLE (With so many games, the difficulty varies!)

VALUE: 6/10 (There aren't enough games, and the games just aren't that fun)

LOAD TIMES: VERY LOW (Almost instant loads!) OVERALL: 8/10 (Another old game collection – but a bit less blah than most, and cheap!)
