Pokemon X and Y launching October 12
New 3DS games launching this fall on Nintendo's latest portable.
Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will launch for the 3DS on October 12 worldwide, Nintendo announced today as part of its latest Nintendo Direct presentation.
The game will feature a mix of Pokemon old and new. Starting Pokemon for the game are toad Froakie, fiery deer Fennekin, and grass monster Chespin.
Pokemon X and Y will be the first mainline Pokemon games made for the 3DS, although a series of spin-offs are already available on the device.
