Well this game is and awesome game and the better of the Dynasty warriors series. So to begin with the characters, this game has 62 unique characters to play.The modes in this game are 2 the story mode witch you play the stories of the Shu, Wu ,Wei factions and the new faction Jin, in the story mode you will learn about the events of the faction that you have chossen in the Three kingdoms period of china now at the story mode you will not be able to choose the charecter you want to play, you will control the character that play a crutial role in the battle.The second mode is the Conquest mode, there you will free roam china.Coquest mode has many battles that you can play with the character you want, and legend battles where you will be playing with a spacific character.In conquest mode you will be able to play with the characters that you have unlocked in the story mode, exept if you play conquest mode before actualy play story mode that you will have 2 characters per faction, also on Conquest mode you can unlock the characters that you cant unlock in the story mode by playing their legends stage.The game has 3 more modes gallery where you can see the officer models and some things more, Encyclopedia where you can read about the battles,people,places and other stuf, in other words you can learn many things about the three kingdoms period.And the tu tutorial where you can learn to play.
Now lets go to gameplay.Unlike the 6th instalment of the game the Dynasty warriors 7 hasnt got the renbu system, it has back the combo system. Every character has a weapon he/she familiar with, if your character has the weapon he is familiar with he can unlease hes Ex attack (experienc attack) that is quiet deadly. Every character can carry 2 weapons on the battlefield if he wisses to chance he can do it just by presing RB or LB button before he chance weapons he will unlease a switch attack and then chance, if the player wants to chance one of hes weapons he can do it even in the battlefield so youm will not have to worry about if you make a wrong desicion.Every character now has 2 musou attacks(musou attack is the ultimate attack), the first one is by presing the B button and the second one is when the character is on the air and press the B button he will unlease an aeria musou or a second ground musou when you pres RB and B together and you the second musou you earn it when you activate the second musou attack from the skill tree, another chance to the musou is that now it has 1 and more bars than the 1 bar that it was having in the previus serries.
The weapons now give you seals that you can use them when you unlock them these seals are attack+, defence+ and such the seal bar will fill as long as you beat enemies troops and officers with the weapons that has the seal,if 2 or more weapons has the same seal and you unlcok the seal to one of them it automaticaly unlock the seal and to the other ones too
The character grow is again with items the items are: life +10 or 20+,attack+1,+2,+4 or +8 and defence +1,+2,+4 and +8). Also the character grow is based on the skill tree.In the skill tree you can unlock more combos, mucher musou bars, weapons mastery and some stats such as power up +, speed up + and such, you can unlock those things with skill points. The skill points earned by defeating enemy officers.
Those who love hack en slash games must try Dynasty Warriors 7 its one of the best hack en slash games. Have fun with the game.
