it is my favorite game it feels like u have enter the of historic warriors . beside a empire edition . waw u feel u cAn organise ur empire as u like . and the best thing in this game u feel like u are powerful warrior by killing thousands of warriors. it remember me by an old great animation story

it would be cool if koei added more like your character having more impact on the story by making key decisions like which enemy to fight and improved AI but i have to admit cutting through hundreds of enemies is still fun

I love the dynasty warriors and samurai warriors franchise, can't wait.

the world has officially gone mad when westerners are hyping a dynasty warriors game.

they need to have stuff u can buy on playtaion store where u can get new costumes and the old weapons and combos etc. it would be awesome if u could explore inside a city and start bar fights lol.

Wow, apparently people do not know this is the FOURTH Empires game. Dynasty Warriors 4 and 5, and Samurai Warriors 2 had an Empires version already. Play those and you will get the over-all idea of this one.

AW BTW... Gamespot would you please remove this adverts before video playback, it's ok to have them in a few videos But since the last couple of weeks they've been in EVERY SINGLE VIDEO I WATCHED!!! And it's starting to piss me off

Either they are taking a whole new approach by including both RPG and strategy elements or this is the most deceitfull trailer ive seen!

It could be really nice with a open-world for this game xD

since they're so good with cinematic they should add more of that in-game or something

in response to diggyman: why should koei step it up...people keep buying the same game year in and year out for full price only to trade it in 2 months latter, spend some months complaining and then go right out and buy the next installment...sounds like they're doing just fine making money. (as far as, do i wish they'd step it up....yes....but financially...what's the need?)

Whatever the case be it big changes or a few smalls it will still be worth getting, but that doesn't mean I'm not hoping for some impressive improvements.

i bet this is going to radically change the way we look at games forever...or...or at least dynasty warriors....uh...or, uh....no, maybe not.

You know, I did enjoy DW5 Empires. I know it wasn't the prettiest and most expansive game out there, but the idea behind it was cool to me. It has a kind of "Risk" like game style. I just wish they did more overall. The biggest problem is that Koei isn't the best brand out there. Imagine if this game were in the hands of Ubi Soft or better yet, Capcom... This series would kick butt. At the end of the day, I appreciate Koei's efforts, but they should step it up exponentially.

This wont have too many new things, maybe one or two things that will improve the gameplay, other than that it will just be a bit more advanced than the ones before it, i'll still be getting it tho, love the series and have done since it was a beat em up =)

Hmmm, I'm still not as enthusiastic as I was before after player DW6, to many repetitions from the old DW. I want something that is fresh from this series.

I hope they learned from their DW: Strike Force and add it to this game. I am waiting to be impressed again.

Usually, the Empire version of DW has a great AI compared to the normal/Xtreme legends version.

I hope there would be some graphical and AI improvements in this series

I think Koei should abandon DW6 and focus of DW7. Bring back the old character models, weapons and voices. And of course eliminate the renbu system and bring back the charge attacks.

Quite a good trailer, definitely a nice change from the usual with Zhou Yu being the main character in the Trailer, instead of Zhao Yun.

Dynasty Warriors is my favorite game series. Can't wait for this.

im disappointed that after so many Dynasty Warrior games they still dont have online multiplayer, at least online co-op, that would've definitely made me buy this, but it still just has the regular offline co-op...its gonna need some really neat stuff to prove itself to me at least...

I like how the character creation has improved a whole lot, from how your weapon looks, to the changing of many more choices of face, armor, size voice and peronaitly. Please let them keep the vorice and personailty in the us version and not take it out like they did in the SWE.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Dynasty warrios 5 and 6 are fantastic. I cant wait for this one as well!!!! Great times. DW5: Empires was amazing and this is going to be allot better!!

dynasty warriors was only good on ps2

I'm not too stoked for this one. But the new DW Gundam looks like it could sell.

Dynasty Warriors used to be fun, its way past its prime.

I am a big Dynasty Warriors fan. I think also, the Openings and the Music are better than the earlier Dynasty Warriors games.

Cool, I still say the openings and music are better form the earlier games though. Am getting this the day it comes out. :P
