Sure we all hated to spawn infront of 1-3 enemies and be gunned down in seconds but it was part of the game and it was fun to do the oposite to some one else. The new spawns also slowed ambush matches down by a minute or two. People used to burn through the first 10-15 clones in the first few seconds of a match before the 'battle lines' stablized to some degree. Now you probably have to run for 10 seconds before you see your first enemy.
It does almost make Skirmish matches pointless now unless you really like to hack objectives. I'm getting almost 4k SP a match now in ambushes, even when I barely earn 300wp because they take so much longer.

The thing that makes Ambush unenjoyable is the side effect of new Ambush spawns that made Skrimish not save KDR so suddenly KDR padders can't do it in Skrimish and have migrated to Ambush OMS

For me, losing a match under the old system was frustrating because in many cases, the winner of the match was the team that got the better initial spawns and was able to take the important portion of the map first as a result. At that point its just a matter of gunning people down as they come because newberries dont group up.
The old system discouraged smart play and strategy. Why flank someone when you could run headlong into them, take out enough people to equalize your own death, then SPAWN behind them, no effort required. Yet another reason not to go out of your way to flank the enemy is that its quite possible that one of them will spawn behind YOU while you do so and light you up.
