The Most Boring Game I've Ever Played

User Rating: 1.5 | Dungeons: Into the Dark PC
Let's get this out of the way right here and now, the game may look like Dungeon Keeper 2, but the only similarities are in the theme and presentation. That's not what this game is judged by, but it needed to be said. With that out of the way, on to the review.

The "Critically Acclaimed" Dungeons starts out charming enough, you lead a smart mouthed goblin to the Dungeon Lord then you walk him out and start placing little chairs and lamps and piles of gold along hallways.

And that's pretty much the entire game, for several levels to come. You place little chairs and lamps and other objects, heroes come through gates on a timer, they admire all the decorations and loot your treasure, then when they're happy you run up and knock them out. Your minions then drag the hero back to a cage, where he paces pack and forth giving you points so that you can place more lamps and chairs.

You also place monster spawn points, where the monsters will attack heroes like a turret and make them happy, but the monsters don't leave the spawn point and essentially just stand there until a hero attacks them.

The game can best be described as a dark Nanny Tycoon style game.
