My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this game. We felt it was a little easier than what we normally play, but fun non-the-less and a nice change to have a bit of fun without being too intense. The game is not in split screen so there was the issue of having to stay close to each other which at times was a bit frustrating.
I liked the ability to zoom in to see a larger view of the area and the characters.
If you liked Baulder’s Gate and Gauntlet, you’ll like this game because it’s very similar in concept. I’m surprised Gamespot rated it so low because it was a great game. It is a shorter game than most we have played so we were a bit disappointed when he ended.
I would highly recommend this game, especially if you enjoyed Baulder’s Gate, Gauntlet type games.

Dungeons and Dragons: Heroes is a pretty mediocre game in this genre, but will satisfy a hack and slash fix.

D&D Online goes free to play, but unfortunately for Turbine the decision came two or three years too late. The game is dead, time to move on.Posted Jun 10, 2009
