Solid RPG with several hours of gameplay but also formulaic.

This to date has probably been the best game that I have played on my iPod touch (and I have played at least a couple of dozen games seriously). It is just like every other top-down RPG, even including market/merchant to trade with. The addition of spells and special abilities give it a feel of real PC and console RPG's as well.

The game probably took about 5 hours or so to beat and it should be mentioned that difficulty is pretty much at a minimum with health potions rarely needing to be used once the user has gotten a feel for things. Customizability of character exemplifies the whistles and bells one can expect from what I would argue has been the best iPod/iPhone game of 2009.

My small complaints are simply the following:
a.) Could have made it easier to wear equipment that is obtained toward the end of the game. I found that my guy rarely had skill points high enough to wear any of the equipment at the end levels which sucked because I would have had to play for another few hours to get those stats high enough to wear the equipment. But then what quests would be left for me to do while donning this top-notch equipment?
b.) Would have liked a bit more options for classes (there are only 3: mage, warrior, and rogue), more stats (there are only strength, dexterity, and wisdom (I think that's the 3rd one, don't remember)), and more spells. But in the end I suppose there is only so much that can be expected from an iPod/iPhone game.

Overall I give this a 9.5/10. A must buy for anyone with an iPhone or iPod.
