A great game, saved me from putting the pokemon games down

Difficulty: When I say the difficulty is very easy I mean that it is easy to play and beat. When it comes to the Battle Frontier, that's when the real challenge begins. There are 7 different battle......buildings, and you can choose to enter lv.50 or lv.100 single or double battle, and with one, you can enter with a friend in a double battle. The Battle points are very hard to accumulate to get the prize you want. It sometimes gets frustrating even for me, because you have to beat each place a certain number of times in a row without losing. My record time in beating a pokemon game(the elite four) was 10:37 for sapphire, training everyone myself with no cheats or trades, and I only have 2 battle frontier symbols(battle factory and battle pike).
Graphics and sound: I like the fact that they move a little like in Crystal, but some of their movements are LAME!! They could have done a better job with it. And the sounds of the pokemon are getting old, I was expecting better although there are some catchy tunes(legendary battles especially Mew and Deoxys) in the different areas that you're in.
Learning Curve: I put 0 to 30 minutes because that's about how long it takes to get the basics and do your thing. But learning about types, weaknesses, strengths, abilities and strategies takes ALOT more time (yes you will need it for the Battle Frontier). So, in reality it would take quite a while to learn what you need to know to be a "Pokemon Master".
It's a great game, and very addicting (I've played abut 600 hours in total of all the pokemon games I've played), it really is fun but yes it can get boring, thats why I got emerald when it came out(I actually got it from a friend for 20 bucks, because my brother bought the game at a store and got the "stuff in the box"). Also, training does take quite a while(to get to lv.100), so I recommend that after you have at least 4 or 5 pokemon at lv.100, mix records with friends and go find them at their secret bases, then battle them and give an exp. share to a pokemon that your training. That pokemon will get around 3,000 exp. points for each pokemon that you knock out, and if you're using it in battle, it should get somewhere around 6,000 to 7,000 exp.points. So, all in all, i think it is a great game and the best in the series so far..........
