"Recreational Steroid Use"...Let me clarify for those young pups who may be confused. The steroids are not the reason The Duke is built like a brick house, Nukem partakes in consistent exercising to become healthy and more adaptable to never ending Alien-A$$-kicking. Which has brought us to the reason of why he is a "Recreational Steroid User". Obviously, if he took steroids he would have a major...shrinkage issue..but as we all know the Duke must take Steroids to tame his overly issued package. Its for the womens sanity of coarse...you see, Duke Nukem isn't all made of stone.
they are making a new duke nuekem and with new graphics it will look awsome. my only fear is that our modern day society will give the game reason. in this game the plot is that all of the women in the world hae been kidnapped by aliens so duke grabs a shotgun a pistol a rpg and some high tech wepons and kicks ass. no other plot and i love that it was so interactual. you could kick trash cans ad dent them blow up bottles pay strripers and if a dead enemys body got crushed by the door his organs would stech out when the door opened like a accordian. i hope they dont ruin all of this

I could not agree more! Duke was the first FPS that had a plot that was a bit more then find the key, save open door clear the room and save the world, the only game that took if farther then Duke Nukem was Half Life all hail the greatest FPS hero ever. DUKE NUKEM! "You want a dance?"
Heheh I always make Duke Nukem in a game if the custom character creation will allow it and it makes sense for him to be there, i.e. not a fantasy game. As a proud Duke fan I am happy to see people give him the title he deserves! Who knows.. maybe he'll make a come back someday somehow.

Duke's game will never come out, sad really... 3drealms had to go under due to it not releasing a stream of games often enough to turn a profit. Why did they take soo long on Duke's game? I still have the babbages 1996 pre-order receipt. I framed it sometime ago. This game would have kicked butt to see Duke in 1080p on my computer monitor kick alien booty would have been worth the wait. and not to mention I would have liked to see how the strippers got rendered in Duke's game. It's really sad to see how this game will just forevr go down as a would have been, could have been.. instead of the greatest game of all time.

used to love LAN'ing with my friends with Duke Nukem playin the levels together until 3am when i was growing up. ah the memories. cant wait for the new one. Take 2 and 3d Realms gotta step up.
He certainly got my vote. And although there are a lot of cool video game bad-asses, none of them compares to the Duke. Now get the freakin game finished, will you?
What kind of video tribute to Duke was that? What was with continuous music throughout? Why didn't we hear some of Duke's most memorable one liners? Where's the scene of Duke taking a dump down the fallen boss' neck? Those were the real moments from Duke Nukem. I could go on but whats the point.
