- "Just plain fun"
Started playing this last night after I picked up my Balls of Steel edition.
While its nothing revolutionary and mind blowing, Still a great fun game with all the Duke you could want.
I giggled at the fact that health is ego, raising your ego permanently by interacting with things like, doing weights, looking at yourself in the mirror, and relieving yourself is quite funny and partially makes this game what it is.
The graphics are good, not stunning but i'm quite happy with it, gameplay for me took a bit of getting used to, nothing major. Switching weapons from numbers 1 through to 9 is absent from the new game and now uses the switch system, 2 guns, one button to switch, I suppose its not too bad.
I like how the game hasn't tried to do too much different, especially seeing pig cops again while running around really brings back memories of duke 3D and 64.
My only beef with the game is that the balls of steel edition should've came with gum to kick ass with.
I give the game a 9 out of 10, playing as Duke again is heaps of fun, and as a whole package, it really was worth the buy for me

Not as great as it should be after all those years, but still it is a good FPS filled with grotesque and hot chicks.

Like Duke Nukem 3D but better graphics and extra content, including some bugs.
