You either like it or hate it. I myself like it (This is my short and simple review)
D.N.F was one of my most anticipated games of 2011.
I fell in love with it immediately after i saw its trailer.
I think it's because of how dirty it looked! *(o,-)* LOL!
So i told myself that i was gonna buy the game on its release date and i did.
I was so hyped and excited about it.
When i reached home, the first thing i did was to look at its review on IGN.
Damn it! I felt so disappointed in it even before I started playing.
However, I still inserted the disk in my console and gave it a shot.
After playing the first 2 chapters, i just couldn't take it anymore.
I was so pissed off by how bad the game was.
so i kept it on the shelves and told myself that i'll never play it again.
But recently, after going through my game collection, I came across it and something urged me to give it another chance.
After the first 2 chapters the game turned out to be surprisingly good.
Not good as in "wow!!!" but as in "Not bad!"
The graphics looked outdated but at least i was not expecting anything more considering that the game was developed for about 14 years.
The gameplay was old school and arcade-ish.
The weapons were like only 6.
The enemies were repeatedly the same but it wasn't boring to kick their asses.
The game also has a lot of Half-life 2 like puzzles. Some were good while others were not well designed.
Overall i enjoyed the game a lot but the question is, am i still gonna try and beat the game again after some years to come?
The answer is no, never. I'll just keep it in my game collection and treasure the memories i had with it.
Time spent to complete the game: 2 nights.

Overall: 6.6/10
Bottom line: It's not as bad as people may say it is but not worth a purchase. Just a rental.
