12 years to make a sub-par shooter? Seriously guys, think about a carreer change.

This is one of those titles that has been hyped to the summit of Everest and back again; and like it or not like so many games that have gone before it doesn't measure up.

The entire game appears to have been made with an audience comprising solely of 14 year olds with crappy toilet humour and cheap sexual inuendo oozing from every piece of code. Look beyond that to the actual game and you will find something that would have been barely passable 5 or 6 years ago. An ageing graphics engine, pointless puzzle after pointless puzzle, on rails to the Nth degree, shallow story ( aliens are kidnapping the babes, not on my watch ), and gameplay from the dark ages make DNF one for the bargain bin; or if you prefer the disk makes a handy coaster and the box can be used to steady that wobbly table leg.

12 years! I'll say that again, 12 years. In that time studios like Bioware and Bethesda have turned out any number of quality games while Gearbox couldn't even make this one decent.

Seriously though, if you are that desperate for infantile titilation go read a magazine or surf the net for 5 minutes, either way is cheaper. Save your money.
