Duke Nukem Forever

After seeing the trailer, a few months back I was already disappointed. But I've taught myself not to completely judge a product by it's advertisement. I sat down and expected a short, mediocre, pew pew pew fest with some crude humor. Sadly, that's what I got.

I usually do my best to dive deeper, but this game is the equivalent to a kiddies pool. You aim at things, press the left mouse button and they fall down. Dukes voice actor throws around the f-bomb from time to time right after waking up from a nap. Do some quick time events, do a few jumps and- OH LOOK HD DAIRY QUEENS!

DNF reminds me of a tv dinner in the oven for too long. A unusual comparison but nevertheless an accurate one. Because I'm not the only one that thinks this game would have been decent if 3D realms haven't been twiddling their thumbs and actually pushed it out the door in 2001 am I?

No matter how much this game gets criticized. This game will still sell like hotcakes. If you don't understand why, watch Cartmanland.
