User Rating: 10 | Duke Caribbean: Life's A Beach PC
Soon after Duke It Out In D.C. was released, and Sunstorm received it's criticism, the team set out on making an even bigger Duke experience, fixing all their mistakes on Duke It Out In D.C.. Needless to say, they succeeded by a long shot.

Duke Caribbean: Life's A Beach features one new episode (8 levels). That may seem like very little at first, but it's definitely worth it. Every level has many areas that you would normally see in the Caribbean, and it's done well. You'll fight pig cops (complete with "honolulu' clothes and sunglasses) and other old friends through resorts, water parks, cruise ships and so on. Unlike Duke It Out In D.C., this expansion pack features new music, and it's very nicely done.

Along with all the other awesome stuff, the pack features new weapons and items. Bananas replace med-kits, a water pistol replaces your pistol and a Super Soak'em replaces your shotgun. All the other weapons have been replaced, too, and you'll have to see them yourself.

Among the old enemies (dressed in Caribbean attire), you'll find some new rivals too, these being the seagull and the inflatable monster. The inflatable monster is rode by a pig-cop, and shoots coconuts (rockets) at you. These enemies are fairly weak, and a few squirts from your water pistol will take them down. The seagulls simply takes a dump on you, and while they are weak, they are hard to aim at. Art is very well done.

Conclusion: Duke Caribbean: Life's A Beach is amazingly well done. Sunstorm attempted to add a Caribbean atmosphere to an old MS-DOS game, and they came out over the top. If you are a fan of Duke Nukem 3D, buy this game NOW.
