Duck Hunt has started to show its age over the years, but at the time of release it was revolutionary. Using the Zapper light gun, you have a choice of shooting ducks or skeet targets. The shooting is exactly what it advertises: ducks fly up and you point your gun and shoot. Tougher skill levels limit the number of bullets you can shoot.

The graphics and sound are decent, but the quirky dog that catches the fallen ducks or laughs at you when you miss is really quite endearing. The shooting is quite accurate, and a dot appears on the screen where you are shooting, making it easier for you to modify your aim if you have a quirky gun.
