Atlus singing Rondo of Swords

Publisher to bring Success Corp.'s fantasy strategy RPG to North American DSs on April 15.

In giving gamers a heads-up on upcoming Wii and Nintendo DS releases yesterday, the hardware maker let more than a few as-yet-undisclosed details slip out of the bag. One such reveal was Atlus' Rondo of Swords, which the niche role-playing game-oriented publisher officially announced today as coming to the North American market for the Nintendo DS on April 15.

Rondo of Swords is a fantasy strategy RPG that was originally developed by Success Corp. and released in Japan as Ituwari no Rondo last year. Tyranny is afoot in Rondo of Swords, and players set out on an extended quest that features a branching storyline and multiple endings. Players will manage in detail the advancement of their own character as well as the development of their party members.

Rondo of Swords has not yet been rated or priced.

    dude i dig atlus luminous arc was alright but the live action is what i live for

    So far, this 'looks' better than Luminous Arc... let's hope it really is.

    Looks like a cross between Fire Emblem and the Tales of... series
    But if its anything like Luminous Arc ...(getting my hopes up and crushing them), Atlus is good at doing that.

    This looks awesome.
    Personally, I hope it's and action-rpg cause i already have lots
    of Final Fantasy, Fire emblem, and other normal RPG's

    If is Turn Base and have big Story like Fire Emblem or Suikoden. I´m sure want got it. If is action RPG... forgot it. P.S. And hundred hour ´s play one story of course...

    Atlus makes great games, i hope this one wil be a great game like the others i played.

    I've had many good memories with Atlus and some not so good ones, so we'll throw this one on the "Wait and see" pile.

    I hope Atlus did a better job on this than on Lumonius Arc, boy did that game suck

    It's about time Atlus brought this over even it's very hard. I just checked my game list now and the title changed from Itsuwari no Rinbukyoku to Rondo of Swords.

    manwithnoplan91 your wrong Atlus does develop games Persona 1,2,3 and most of the MegaTen series all developed by Atlus but they do just publish a lot of titles also

    BigBoi500 Atlus doesn't actually make games. They just get games localized here, but I do have to agree with you.

    Atlus really gives us (North Americans) a chance to play games that we otherwise would have to import or never see.
