    sunrie - you're half right.

    sonic is about speed and timing. a real time combat engine can make or break this game if it properly incorporates the feel of sonic speed. as long as bioware took a page from cryware and sqeenix in the world ends with you...real time combat could be faster than you would really like it be - just as the hedgehog intended.

    I don't know. I mean I like RPGs but I'm not convinced yet that this will be a good RPG. I prefer sonic-speed like sonic games like Sonic Unleashed.

    Tak52 I agree Bioware is great, Mass Effect, kotor, Baldurs gate etc... they can make good rpgs I hope this one is good just the same

    Generally i would agree with you. But i really enjoy the mario bro's RPG. And i really respect Bio-Ware. So hopefully this game will be what the Sonic Franchise needed

    Bioware knows what they are doing, they haven't let us down yet... Although I read somewhere that they were trying to re-create the feel of Chrono Trigger, so right off the bat, my expectations are very high.

    The Sonic games just haven't been the same since they were on the Genesis and Sega CD. While it's difficult to recreate that feel, change is not always the best idea for a franchise when something works already.

    A Sonic RPG, while interesting on paper, just doesn't look as though it's going to translate well into the real world. Sonic used to always be about speed and timing. An RPG, even with real time strategy, really slows him and the game play down.

    this dosnt look like anything special, i would REALLY buy a super smash brothers for the DS, and maybe if it were mario instead of sonic things would be better
