    Just to see if the bad luck was just in my head i started writing down the instances.


    Over 10 battles my opponents scored 34 critical hits

    Over 10 battles I scored 2 critical hits

    Over 10 battles I got frozen from an ice move 7 times out of 11 uses of an ice attack

    Over 10 battles The lowest time my pokemon has stayed asleep is 5 turns

    Over 10 battles I missed with Hypnosis 9 times out of 14


    Therefore i decided to stop competitive battling for the time being, as this is just plain angering me

    Used to have the same thing, just start expecting the worst, say things like "Well, this will kill me even though it's not very effective" right before a move hits, and blame the other Trainor in a loud, obnoxious voice whenever you lose. Also, throw pillows at stuff whenever anything bad happens, even if it's just that a Tackle did two damage instead of one. All of that works for me.

    Also, remember that you are not as unlucky as a friend of mine whose Lv. 100 Raichu fainted when a Magicarp used Splash. We think the game glitched, but he had never cheated or anything, so who knows? Anyone want to test it, to see if Splash really does have a hidden effect?

    I've long expected that splash had like a 1% chance to 1HKO the opponent <.<
