    i got the dsi like 3 or more weeks ago and i love it is amazing. I hate when peoplpe say o theres no gameboy advance slot. Who do u see walking down the block playing a gameboy. I think nintendo took out the slot because they realize that people can play a gameboy game on a gameboy so why dont u buy a gameboy

    Okay, loi88, here's the deal. The original and Lite version of the Nintendo DS sold around 10 times more than the Sony PSP in 2008. It has a touch screen, and the ability to play two types of games -- GameBoy Advance games and Nintendo DS games. with the New upgrade of the Nintendo DSi, the only thing they really took out was the ability to play GameBoy Advance games. That was a real turn-off to me, since I still have all of my original GBA games. 12 to be exact. Anyway, with the new bonus features for the DSi, just as stated in the video, ability to record videos and pictures, as well as being able to tamper around with 'em. It also has a feature to be able to connect to the internet just as easily as the Sony PSP. It also allows you to access all of your photos, videos, and music on your computer through a MicroSan SD Card. Overall, the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DS is BETTER than the PSP.

    Oh, and by the way Setter, not all of us have the money to buy an Iphone, 360, and a Plasma Screen TV.

    It looks like they did a lot stuff to it, but i do not like that it doesn't have a game boy advance slot.

    they improved with a camera atleast it is more exciting in a way but I bet there will be flaws such as it shutting down after a couple of days maybe, but It looks great to me as long as it works fine I will have good comments on the system. It has much more features then the other DS, and i like how I can download internet on the DSI which will be pretty decent for a hand held game. I can stretch out pictures of my brother,LOL make him weird looking.LOL.

    not worth the price...no dual touch screen only one....no support for mp3 format....no upgraded GPU. no reason to buy and a screen that is what...17percent come on! would rather like dual touch screen. This commerical is targeting the older age group to....sorry but with the same old gpu also lol

    Waste of money. With my Apple iphone i can play a lot of games with my fingers (not a pen) and really have a lot of fun. For hardcore gaming, my xbox 360 plugged to my Plasma ... so Nintendo is promoting the wind!!! ~~

    I disagree Madrox AAC format is the new digital format tha the industru had moved to. You can easily convert your files using Itunes. My PSP has nothing but AAC audio, its like still using cassette when CDs are out, everything changes man.

    granted, the ad makes it look glamourous, but the camera has too few megapixels, it comes in boring and garrish colours, if the internet connection is powered by nintendo wi-fi, my router has "settings not compatible or approved by nintendo" ridiculous i know. and the i've heard that the music can only be stored in an AAC format not Mp3, so i would have to convert my stuff, and in the end the nintendo DS is a games machine. without it's games and only these features it's pathetic. however i still have a ds phat and the battery has died 3 times and the battery case is held on with clear tape. it's battery life is also quite sad. so i might pick this up just for looks and improved battery life. bigger screens sound awfully appealing as well. i don't know i'll think on it

    might convince the average consumer but anyone with brains or has done any research will know that all this is is a minor improvement on the DS Lite, and its not worth $299.95 (Australia).

    This will be my 1st DS purchase. This is exactly what I wanted since I heard about the original DS announcement. Took them long enough, but well worth the wait.

    im sorry nintendo, i know this was a lot to put together, but maybe you could just make a newer handheld and include these features...

    ... and more importantly, have a higher resolution screen, dammit. the DS resolution drives me insane, but probably cuz im a videophile lol

    I may be getting it.. but for the apps and those fabled DSi only games... The only 2 original games I got are Pokemon Pearl and Transformers Decepticons.. i know.. kinda pathetic.. I got a Wii (picking up MadWorld soon) and it's sleeping while my PS3 gets most of the love..

    Nintendo have make so money that now they sleep on their "gold"

    I find a lot stupid to have two cameras.
    And again the top screen is not a touch screen.

    No more Game Boy slot.
    What about Operating System? Same
    What about CPU/GPU? Same
    What about memory? Same
    What about Battery life? Same

    Actuall, all of that stuff was changed.
    New OS, Faster processor, more memory, slightly shorter battery life, WPA support- so, unless you were joking, I guess you were decieved, just not by Nintendo.

    The camera is crappy. It's only .3 megapixels. My phone is better than that, and the pics look terrible.

    I'm still on the fence. I keep going back and forth on whether it's worth investing in the DSi since I just bought my Lite 4 months ago. Maybe...maybe not...I just don't know.

    i just want to ask why nintendo can add a music player, camera, a voice recorder, and the ability to download games to the ds. but sony cant even add an extra analog stick to the psp? is there a reason that they cant add the second analog stick? or are they just lazy?

    Looking at the ads makes me wanna buy!
    but when i thinking of the feature, it's kinda waste money.
    interactive camera and portable web browser? nah~ i have a better one already for these 2.
    So, in the end, i also ends up choosing nds as onli a portable console. So, for me, it's kinda not worth it.
