    this is such a lie, you do NOT get to play as all the heroes. this is why i bought the game but was sadly disappointed u get: Elrond, Isildor, legolas, aragorn, gimili, gandolf, treebeard, balrolg, sauron, saroman, and a couple more, no theaoden, or his nephew and most of the hobbits. AHHHH PIPPIN IS MY FAVORITE!!!!

    Online demo is really impressive i must admit and story looks like at least 30v30 battles.HELL YEAH!

    Been playing the demo on the 360, can't wait for it to go in stores. Too bad it comes out during MOCK exams.

    for me this will be the best rpg game ever of lord of the rings. i'm waiting for him to come to stores to buy it.

    This idea has so much potential. Why don't they do more games in the LOTR universe? I hope this is going to be as good as it should be.

    Dear God! Why didn't they just call it Lord of the Rings: Battlefront? lol It basically looks like it runs off the same engine from starwars battlefront... Seriously... W/e I'm getting it. lol

    most people on this form don't understand much about battlefront or btw they talk don't see that combining the 2 games makes a completely unique game.

    As good as they were, I don't want this to turn out too much like the directly film-based LotR games. As the name shows, it should be a different style. Those games have been done pretty well, but they HAVE been done. Three cheers for something newer.

    This looks to be a good game. I just hope they find a way to keep it interesting and rewarding as non-stop battling can get a bit tedious.

    If they want to make this game good, they will have to delay it. I think this game will be a total failure. Besides, i'm a big fan of The Lord of the Rings. It needs more action.

    I think standard warrior class will be the same as Heros in SW: Battlefront. I think it's good, I would improve defensive blocks though

    I want to play this online. I'm gonna be an archer, hide on a balcony, see my opponent looking around for enemies, and BAm my fire arrow will destroy him!

    This game looks very good.

    the game defenitly as pontencial, but... i have some doubts about the gameplay, it seams that it does change no matter what faction, the moves of a gondorian are the same as an orc, that also apllays to the classes,they could varify to faction, not all the same, still as the largest number of playable caracthers

    I must agree with that this game looks a bit shallow. At the point where the uh, chubby guy said that this would deffinetly be the best action game for the LOTR franchise, i became really doubtfull. So far i personally think that Two towers and Return of the king games made by EA, are the best ones up to date. Although they were a bit shallow too, the gameplay and the "leveling/upgrading" system gave a good feel and variety. A big flaw that most new (fantasy/medieval/hack'n slash) action games tend to have, is that the the moves look a bit too fast, flashy and unrealistic (something i like to call the J-rpg effect). This is by no means bad, as long as they are able to balance it. To the people that thinks this game looks awesome, try Two towers. Also, neutro07 I don't think they should have more classes. Two towers had only 3, and still managed to flesh them out really well. I think that if a game like this have too many classes, it'll thin down the gameplay etc.. Also, You're telling others not to judge a game by it's looks, but even so isn't that exactly what you're doing yourself?

    i think this game looks mega awesome, i do think they could use more classes but even so its lotr in the style of star wars : battlefront FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I damn to hell anyone who would call this game rubbish, try playing before you judge IDIOTS.

    wow u guys actually thought this interview made the game look good?? actually i thought it looked crazy shallow, and the representative for the game sounds like a dumbass... he was like we have a ton of different arrows for the ranger class and then he names 3 and when naming the 3rd one he uses the word "and" saying that there are only 3 types... i can tell u right now one of the flaws of the game, repetitive. Not to mention shallow. This is why video games are getting worse
