- The Bottom Line:
The atmosphere in the game and the characters you interact with transported me to a very detailed alternate universe, it had a very magical and esoteric vibe going on that I have never seen in a game before. If you like wild adventures that transport you to a magical place this game is for you.
The gameplay in this game involves searching the environment for clues and puzzles to find out how to proceed. You often have to find objects and put these together to create a tool that you need to get past an area. Combat was limited, and was really not what made this game worthwhile. Choices you have to make in conversations that will determine the outcome of a situation are a focus of the gameplay. The story was incredibly deep and rich, and is the main point of the game. It definitely makes up for the limited gameplay. Graphics were good, nothing technically stunning, but very warm yet detailed with a vibrant world to explore full of interesting characters and thrilling encounters, chases, & the battles however short and simple they often are. The sound, character voices and music were all excellent!
