We Win the Blitz Bowl

Videogames.com takes home the trophy from the biggest football gaming tourney of the year, Midway's Blitz Bowl.

Today at the W Hotel in San Francisco, Midway put on one of the biggest football game tournaments of the year, the Blitz Bowl. The company offered members of the gaming press a chance to prove which editors were true masters of NFL Blitz 2000 for the Dreamcast.

Jeff Gerstmann and Ryan Mac Donald entered the tournament for videogames.com, and we're happy to announce that both won. Jeff won first place and Ryan came in at a close second. It should be noted that this is actually a repeat win for Jeff, as he took home the trophy at Midway's last Blitz Bowl event as well.
