Capcom has opened a Web site to commemorate the 15th anniversary of its Street Fighter series. The Web site will be used to announce a number of events scheduled for the anniversary, and Street Fighter-related items will be available for purchase on the site starting in July.

Three events are currently scheduled to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Street Fighter Series. The first event is a music contest in which participants can send in a remix or an arranged soundtrack consisting of background music from the original Street Fighter II game. The winner will have his or her track released as a part of Capcom's tribute CD Street Fighter vs. Street Musician. The second event is a costume contest, in which participants can dress up as their favorite Street Fighter character and send their photo to Capcom. A number of winners will be chosen, and their photos will be displayed on the site every month between June through December. The third event is a Street Fighter gallery, where the original artwork and sketches used for the series will be on display. The gallery will be in Akihabara Tokyo from June 13 to June 15, and it will later visit other areas of Japan.
