The Dead Go Hollywood

Sega's House of the Dead may soon arrive at a theater near you.

Mindfire Entertainment and Sega are in talks to bring Sega's House of the Dead to the big screen. The two companies plan to develop at least one live-action feature film based around the game's premise that focuses on genetically mutated zombies who threaten Earth's future.

"There is an incredible international brand awareness for this title, and coupled with its compelling storyline and amazing visuals, The House of the Dead has a built-in audience for a live-action feature,'' Dan Bates, CEO of Mindfire Entertainment, told Daily Variety. The feature film will be scripted by Dave Parker and Mark Altman.
