DC Half-Life Includes Blue Shift
Sierra Studios and Gearbox Software have confirmed the Blue Shift single-player mission in the Dreamcast version of Half-Life.
Set for a November 1 release, the Dreamcast version of the award-winning PC title Half-Life will be more spectacular than the original, according to Sierra. The Dreamcast version will contain a complete port of the PC edition, as well as a new mission based on the Black Mesa security guard from the first game. Entitled Blue Shift, the new mission will include characters with increased detail, enhanced weapons, and articulate animations to showcase the power of the Dreamcast. Blue Shift is being developed by the same team that developed Half-Life: Opposing Force, the official expansion pack for the PC version.
The full Dreamcast version of Half-Life will retail for US$49.99.
