The game made for me
While playing Demons/Dark souls I was missing only one thing - the open world. Dragons dogma provides it :). I find game simply amazing. I had a fighter (maxed it) then changed vocation to warrior and just maxed it at lv.35. My main pawn is a female ranger and have two mages (healers/fire damage) tagging along for the maximum carnage. And the carnage is great. Exploration in this game is highly addictive, fighting itself is stunning. Upgrading my gear and fighting enemies over and over again, never to get bored. The way I struggled killing my first ogre and the way they are killed by my sword now is so great. The progress of characters really shows and with skill boosts the confidence as well, so my party is venturing forth and further into the darkness.
I agree somewhat about mediocre story, but to get a decent story one has to read The song of ice and fire. I don,t care much for repetitive stories provided by Bioware since Baldurs gate.
