The story is strong, and well supported throughout the whole game. The side missions are logical and not bothersome. Plenty of customization with looks, classes and items. I didn't feel like the game was repetitive and sending me around for the sake of wasting time. Straight from the get go this game grabbed me and sucked me in and never let go. My only regret is that I didn't find this title sooner.
I've played through it once and am still excited to play it on my New Game +. I hope to get more trophies this time around, I manage to get 75% the first time. The enemies include the classic fair, but with many new and wonderfully challenging additions, the tactics vary significantly one to the next keeping the game fresh. I really got into the main and side story lines. I like how the escort missions are often challenging and not just walk this person down the road, but they are still manageable. I also like the Different Sky quests, where you local 100 coins in sometimes unusual or tough spots to get to (It not really part of the story, but it give you a nice break from slaying monster and foes).
I think the game looks beautiful and it plays smooth and doesn't suffer any bugs that I have noticed. It's been a truly enjoyable gaming experience I will not soon forget. I love action, good stories, epic endings and deep endings, This game kinda has 2 if not 3 endings.
My only complaints are the pawns can be a little to chatty, and sometimes they get lazy and don't actively attack the enemy, but maybe that's to give you the ability to really shine as the hero in the combats. I would caution that many quests can get cancelled if you don't complete them before moving on, but most of the time it makes sense.
If you like the Action/Adventure RPGs I think you will love this one.
