This video shows some of the freedom in the game. It just adds an extra layer to the atmosphere.

Someone commented on how the rabbit looked like it weighed a ton because of how the character was carrying it. hahaha

Damn... I really want this game. Looks like it's time to sell a few old ones

    lol @ randomly carrying animals.

I wonder what will happen if you attack civilians in town.

If you can make your own farm/house + raising monsters/animal like in Rune Factory, that would be perfect

    Pick up boar
    Throw it

    Makes perfect sense.

Yeah, I am glad that the beautiful world is so interactive and alive. Plenty of freedom to just have some down time, explore and mess around. Which is a must for immersion in such an open world. This game is so hitting all the right notes for me... and then some.

I never even thought of the potential for Rune Factory style elements. That would be wonderful. With day and night cycles (and hopefulyl weather!), we could grow crops and make our own potions, consumables, etc.

The game has a day night cycle but no weather(as in rain/snow) but it does have windy conditions which effect movement. Light builds get blown around more.

TBH, I wouldn't rule out some sort of farm/house in the game since it does seem to borrow from Monster Hunter a bit, although it might just make you wander the world to find apples to pick instead of finding a few in your own orchard.
