- Feb 12, 2012 7:43 pm GMTThe game already looks mega mega promising. But, there's always that one thing you wanted in the game, so, what's it for you?
My main gripe, pretty obvious, multiplayer co-op. Just imagine playing with a bud, or 4 pals in total.
My next thing, sheathes, scabbards! I wish we saw them!! I was watching the stream and there weren't any sheathes they were putting their weapons in. I was quite disappointed in that tbh.
Also, not something I wish was in, but just a comment. Imo, sometimes you just look awkward and weird when running/walking... lol
Anything on your mind?

I cannot seriously answer this question without actually playing the entire game. About your comment on the walking/running style it has ALOT to do with how you create your character. Things like their posture, the way their feet go (pidgeon toed etc) and the length of their legs. Every character i've seen being played had a different style of running and walking.

I don't know how likely it would be for MH monsters to appear in the game, as it seems a separate development team inside of Capcom is working on this one and borrowing some ideas and animations from that franchise. I hope I'm wrong though, because I love MH.
Neither Dark Souls or Shadow of Colossus had anything to do with Capcom, so...yeah that's a pipe dream
I would just love for a truly open world, because the features within this game seem to be so vast, like the combat animations which are uncharacteristic of many open world RPGs. Additionally there are a lot of acrobatics in the game; if you watched the 2-hour stream on the Capcom blog, one of the characters was climbing around like Ezio from AC and wall-kicking like the Prince of Persia.
I'm really hoping overall for this fusion of action and RPG elements to be appropriate, and for nothing to be streamlined out of stat-building that doesn't have to be, while still giving the effect that has been shown off of a lot of different interactive possibilities (like acrobatics and climbing monsters) without anything being overly-scripted. And that's what we seem to be getting.

Don't forget you can also do a double jump flip if you are a strider, well he was a magic archer at the time but its just an advanced version of it. But like someone else said I would really like rain or just weather really I wouldn't even mind paying for it if its a resonable price.
- Feb 14, 2012 10:05 am GMTI want rain and weather effects not just for the aesthetic effect, but because I think the developers would find a way to tie in gameplay mechanics to the weather. Like for instance, there's a spell that apparently sets you on fire, allowing you to set enemies on fire if you climb on them. They could make it so that in rainy weather, the duration of the spell is significantly shorter. They could also make it so that it's harder to hold onto enemies and platforms when it's raining, and slower stamina regeneration in the snow.
Aw man, now I REALLY want weather!

I haven't researched much about the game but from what I saw in the recent stream there doesn't seem to be much for a stealth approach to beginning battles, at least for melee.

- Feb 22, 2012 6:50 am GMTRealistic children. I don't mean the kind that just wander around your house all day saying the same two lines. I want to have a child in the game that I can do something with: take along on an adventure or teach something to. I would love to learn all these techniques and then be able to turn around and teach them to my son/daughter as like a mini-game. But I stress that if they added children it should be completely optional since a lot of people don't want it in games.

NG+ is in the game.

I would have liked party banter with companions disagreeing with each other but since the pawns only have one motive (serving you) I doubt we'll encounter such banter and I doubt we'd ever have a companion calling us out on our behavior like companions did in Dragon Age: Origins and Baldur's Gate.

@kJHGl
I have to admit Varrics banter throughout DA2 kept me entertained. I would welcome this also.

Sent from my iPhone via PowerFAQs 1.9 - Feb 22, 2012 2:13 pm GMTAfter I watched the 2 hour stream again they confirmed that there is stealth and stealth attacks and an assassin hybrid class so I guess I take back my previous post.
I don't think there's anything else I want maybe aquatic enemies and exploration which might already be in the game.

[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[|||||||||||||]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]] - Feb 22, 2012 4:01 pm GMTThings to FIND under the water. One of my complaints about Skryim was that it had tons of underwater areas to explore, but nothing worth finding if you did. I was expecting treasures, hidden dungeons, etc. It was all empty. I want to swim out to the middle of a lake, dive down, and find something awesome.

For you guys wanting creatures in the water or underwater things in general that will not happen. THe lore in DD is that there are these crazy man eating bug things in the water.. i forget what they're called but stay in the water for long enough they eat you.
- Feb 22, 2012 8:54 pm GMTOh right, I forgot that they mentioned that in the stream.
Meh, I'll live w/o aquatic creatures.
