- Jan 29, 2013 6:17 pm GMTShiro's inclination could use a tweaking as well, I'll give him Fire Affinity. Scather/Challenger is what I usually have on all my pawns, but in his case it's probably not optimal. I like to think he's still a good Mage, though.
I hope you found him to be a little less squishy than some Mages; I had him as a Fighter the first 15 levels to increase his toughness a bit. - Jan 29, 2013 6:57 pm GMTThanks for adding me. Ill do my best to be as active as possible as well as contributing to the club. Rei will approach level 200 soon, then I'll replace him with KING JULIEN
back to level 10 up to level 50. Rei could use a vacation.

I'm looking for a sorcerer or mage around Lv. 20 - 40. I looked through the list but most of the pawns are way above my Arisen and I don't want to get a penalty on EXP.

This is just my $0.02, but IMHO low level players should not feel discouraged to rent high level pawns because of the exp penalty. You will more than make up for the loss by being able to progress through the game faster and kill stronger enemies that give even greater exp. So maybe you're only getting 80% of the normal exp amount with them but you will also be getting to the later parts of the game more quickly and killing enemies that drop more experience. I suspect that if your goal is to level as fast as possible, you should definitely get the strongest pawns you can hire to get you to offline Ur Dragon ASAP. Of course, if you value the challenge and don't want the game to be too easy that is a much more valid reason and you should get weaker pawns and have fun with the game.
Silbe posted...And what should i look for in a good sorcerer? I usually hire 1 sorcerer and 1 mage from the rift for healing and attack but some have the strange habit of running up to the enemy and THEN they start to cast their magic. Great against one bigger foe but when fighting against a group they tend to get beat up. Anyone a good sorcerer or mage?
You generally want them to have scather inclination and not mitigator because their big spells will kill all the smaller enemies anyway, even if they target just the strongest enemy. You also want either challenger or utilitarian to go with it, depending on whether you prefer them to buff more or snipe ranged enemies more. For spells IMHO you want relatively fast spells with all elements covered. I generally avoid pawns who only have the big nuke spells. They tend to cancel spells constantly and wind up not doing anything. I've been told that my Sorc/Mage Melusine does not do that "run up and cast" thing very much. Send me a FR (PSN: ukyo_rulz) if you want to hire her. Note that she is level 200 though. - Jan 29, 2013 7:09 pm GMT
Thanks! Rei is my favorite amongst all the pawns I made. He'll return to DD once my latest creation, King Julien, reaches level 50 or 60.

PSN: Fortenbras_DOOM, pawn: Gall, Ranger - Jan 29, 2013 10:01 pm GMTMy thanks to Seimikazuki (AsianSuperman) for renting Rei, as well as helping me complete my Breath of Fire Group in Gran Soren (with kunousensei's Teepo). Also, cant wait to try all your pawns, people. I may not grant much RC, so Ill reciprocate with Blessed Flowers for the lower level pawns... and... something... for high level ones (other than the rc Ill be paying :p)

AlternatePSN: Walter21-21 - Jan 29, 2013 10:33 pm GMTJust dropped Arya Stark (who apparently isn't active anymore, jeez why does nobody tell me these things :p) and Michonne. Both preformed amazingly, which makes it really suck that Arya isn't active anymore. Did a good chunk of quests and killed many big things so a good chunk of RC should better be coming your way. I also have a request, to anyone renting my pawn, could you gift me tufts of hair if you have any. Strange request I know but I have the notice board quest going and really don't feel like forging 16 tufts if hair, so any would be appreciated

Hair? If youre not in post game yet, you can farm 8-10 bags of the Duke's follicles under his chair in the Dukes Solar. Or while he is swinging that heavy sword, grab as much hair as you can
. I can send some your way later

Yea see, that's the thing, I'm in post game now, but I also never knew this, so I'll do that when he tries to not actually swing a sword at me. Also forgot to mention I picked up Old Greg and Anise for some heavy duty Everfall hunting , and offline Ur killing, just not right now because I'm tired. And finally, I'm gonna make Nether all weird for the night cause another poster wanted to use her to as a hire for offline ur, so if you haven't hired her already best wait until tomorrow.

You can get like 6-8 tufts of hair from the Ogre nest in the middle of the ancient quarry. I pick them up every time I pass that way specifically for that notice board quest. - Jan 29, 2013 11:32 pm GMTAbandoned pawns make me a sad Arisen.

Downright depressing.
I was reading the original pawn sharing club thread earlier, it's amazing how this thing has grown from such humble beginnings less than two months ago. Quite remarkable. X)
Making some progress on my hard mode run, I finally whipped that friggin Drake with some well placed Gicels, a lot of close calls, and even more running around the vicinity like a headless chicken. That sumb***h is tough to stagger, even with high level magic! D:
I need to level quickly, anyone know of a low level Bezel Ranger?
I'm 67 atm. - Jan 30, 2013 1:58 am GMTIm taking Nether and Aramis on postgame Gransys. Will look for some Dragonkins to hunt. HARD MODE

AlternatePSN: Walter21-21 - Jan 30, 2013 5:07 am GMTThis may be a silly question, but: do the pawns earn RC from quest exp, or is it only kill exp? I've had Momo and Nether, but last night I basically sped through some of the main quests without killing much.
Funny story: I forgot I wasn't in post game, and dove head first into the Everfall D:

Alright so like I said I made Nether weird last night, I'll be bring back her skills in a few minutes to allow for hires.
EDIT: alright so I gave Nether her skills back but I'm gonna keep her a Utilitarian Scather, if that's not working then please let me know guys. Also thank you Tigerlyla for the 26,036 RC and the pretty presents

I try to teach area/beast knowledge when hiring pawns more than getting RC, if someone is interested in RC more let me know and I go bezel some Urs.^^
And woohooo boys n' girls this thread is growing even faster then the last one.
Happy to see how well this works, keep it up everyone!

Yup got it all, and I love knowledge, I really don't care that much about RC since I don't use it unless I need to change my pawns inclinations. I'm mostly in it for the hires and the companionship
