One of the best games of all time.

Do not be fooled by its graphical presentation, it more than makes up for it by its amazing story. I spent about 120 hours into this game and I started over twice. That is how much I loved this game. You have so much to do in this game; but be weary, there is going to be lots of battles in order to play this game to its full potential. Basically, you start as a fisherman's son on the supposedly only island in the whole world. But then you find a sacred ruin and figure out the ancient inscription to get in and discover tables, each one leads to a point in the past. Each point turns out to be continents and islands that were destroyed by the Demon Lord. Your mission is to try to fix the past and return the world to where it once was, full of jovial fellows and peaceful villages. But to get to each place, you have to find shards. It is not as hard as it sounds though you will get stuck frequently. Most of the shards are found by talking to everyone, even your comrades. The battle system is very simple but very rewarding when you have cool techniques. It is a classic turn-based RPG. You equip weapons, armor, and accessories too. This game has a good sense of humor too. I found myself cracking up at times. Other than the story, you have lots of stuff to do. You can go to casinos and gamble your way to millions of gold and legendary prizes, develop a monster farm, master all the classes, and build your own town. You also can explore the whole world using different transportation. Keep in mind though that this game will not appeal to those who are not committed. This game is VERY hard. Some boss battles are difficult and force you to go back and learn a new class which takes some time. I will also warn you that some characters will leave your party for good so I suggest you use all of your skill nuts on yourself. Also, this game is very long as you can see how long I played it. Well I hope you find this review helpful because I spent about 20 minutes on it. Though next generation consoles and games are out now with superb graphics, this game still has more heart and I strongly recommend it... if you can find it.
