In the USA, we havent had any DW games since DWIV for the NES system. That game was great and now we get to find out of all this waiting was worth it.

The story is based on a young Hero who while exploring his small island discovers a temple and is warped to a far away land and he learns that he has to find pieces of these tablets in order to restore the different lands and to resurrect "God" so to speak. Of course, things go wrong.

The graphics arent that good, in fact they look like they were produced in the late 90's. But that doesnt take anything away from the game itself. There is alot to do and the world is large enough that soon you forget about graphics and consentrate on the game itself. The battle system is old school turn based which in my opinion is how RPG's should be done. However you never see your team on the screen, you only see the monsters so it looks like your playing one of the NES versions. Plenty of monsters and Boss battles to keep you busy.

Of course like in previous DW games you can assign a Class to your characters where they can learn magics or traits to improve your overall strengths. Then you can change class to become even stronger and learn more & different things and you dont lose previously learned skills. This is great in order to become a superior team.

Die hard fans of the series will love this game and so will those who truely appreciate a RPG from the gameplay and not just by how it looks.
