Dragon Quest IX Sentinels of the Starry Sky is a game chock full of juicy hours of grinding quest completing, grotto busting fun. With over 10+ classes to choose from each with their own unique traits you will be compelled to try them all. The game has the basic RPG classes, warrior, priest, mage, and a long range fighter, which is named a ranger. Each class has its own perks and weakness, and has skills attributed to the class. You can begin leveling up skills at lv 5 or6 I forgot. The skills concern weapon masteries and a unique trait to your class. For example martial artists have a unique skill tree which raises their power and evasion and agility. Each weapon skill tree may be interchangeable with another class. For example if you have a lv 25 warrior with 10 skill points in sword, he keeps those 10 skill points when he switches to another class like a minstrel. You can switch classes later on in the game. The game starts out with you being a guardian protector of mortals on the quest for benevolence. You save a girl and her gratitude gives off this "benevolence." You take this benevolence to the world tree. Later on in the game your home gets attacked and you get blown off stripped of your guardian like powers into the human realm. You get picked up by the same girl you helped earlier and your adventure begins. The story mode should take you around 20-30 hours if you blaze threw it. There are many things to do between the time you before you defeat and after you defeat the last boss. You can find secret skills, secret classes and go on grotto hunts, which feature bosses that are stronger than those of story mode. This game has plenty to offer so try it out I recommend it highly.
P.S. I haven't tried multiplayer cause I have no wifi , but I hear it's great !
