The only thing DBZ UT has in common with the tenkaichi franchise is the name

User Rating: 6 | Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi PS3
Graphics: the graphics are really terrible. Theyre even worse than in Raging Blast. The animations arent better... they just show you how lazy the development team is. However, theres some really cool fan service bcz some cutscenes are actually remasterd from the anime. If youre a DBZ fan, you will definitely appreciate this.

Gameplay:The gameplay, unfortunately, is shallow and boring. All you do is just press a button and then watch the players fight on there own. you feel like you dont have any control over your character. However, despite all that, there are some really cool boss battles with decent button mashing(QTEs).This makes it a bit more tolerable.
Theres also a new addition called Hero Mode. This allows you to create a character from scrath and play through a small story.

Finally, I think that Gamespot was a bit unfair giving the game a 4/10, bcz it deserves a bit more. So, if you are a DBZ fan, like me, I recommend that you try this game bcz underneath the shallow gameplay, theres some decent fan service. However, if youre not a fan, then I suggest that you avoid it as you would a bullet, bcz theres nothing here for you.
