First off I have played ALOT of DBZ games. My bro is a nerd and has like all of them ever made with the exception to the ones I buy. I always found dbz more focused on the characters and how many there are then the actualy fighting part of the game. This game changes all that with some solid gameplay. The PSP shows the game with awesome graphics, with a tad blurry as times when you look close up at characters faces and such. The music sounds like the same they used for alot of dbz games and for how many they have its forgiven same as the done over area's. They did add the janemba area which I havn't seen in a game before. Anyway the voices overs are great but I thought it lacked a bit at times, but after so many games the actors really don't want to be doing this anymore, neither would I so I can forgive this as well. Yes theres alot of forgiving but when you ditch the minor flaws with solid gameplay for once it makes up for it. The controls for the psp are top notch, but wheres the real trainning mode damit! I am still trying to figure out how to do stuff at this moment in time! The game offers around 55 characters if you count transformations, if not theres around 15 maybe more you would have to check up on that. Alot of movie characters are in this game which is nice considering you don't see them to often when you got such a small selection. Whats nice about the small choice is the different attacks. Its kinda what they were trying with Super Dragon Ball Z but failed and some how made it good in this game. I never played the original psp of this game so I can't tell you if its worth buying if you got the other but if you don't then get this game with solid gameplay and graphics and added storyline of trunks another road story mode it will amuse both dbz and fighting fans to the max. This game also has online features to battle friends online, not that dbz games don't give you enough challange. Z mode
