Fans of Dragonball will instantly recognize the appeal of this game. The choices remain the same as most fighting games these days. With a story mode option where you are the main character, Goku, on a quest. Thus unlocking various characters along the way as the story progresses. You will also earn money "Zenie" from successful fights with which you have the option to purchase various power ups for yourself. The other option entails the usual 2 player battle where you can versus your friends or family to become the supreme master of dragonball. This mode increases in playability as you unlock other characters and purchase various capsule skills from the shop. Most of the characters from the successful Anime series are in the game. It does take some time to learn the moves and specials if you've never played any of the older versions before. The speed of the battles is really quick too, you need to really concentrate on what your opponent is doing or you are gonna get demolished. Even on the easier difficulty settings. That said its a fun game with a variety of strategies that can be used in order to beat the computer/ AI. I recommend it to anyone with an interest in Anime or manga cartoons.
