THIS GAME IS ULTIMATE TENKAICHI!!! NUFF' SAID!

User Rating: 9.5 | Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 PS2
Quick Intro!!!!!

Before I start, I want to make something clear, this game is THE BEST Dragonball game! No matter, if we talk next-gen or old gen.

Thank you.

Let's get it on.

Gameplay.

Dragonball: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, takes what Dragonball: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, already set, and makes it into the best Dragonball gameplay experience to date.

You can do everything from basic combat to actually COMBO'S and when I say COMBO'S I mean, COMBO'S, it takes awhile until you master them, but you'll learn em'. The stages look amazing, highly detailed to the crater, everything looks smooth and is just gorgeous, stages again, can be demolished to a certain level. Also, not to mention, finally every character has his own move set, this means no boring combat and same ol' moves over and over, finally a decent Dragonball worthy combat system. Coming with the combos and move-set is the Beam struggle, finally it has been balanced, finally you can shoot beams and have a chance to win against the other Ki blast, the one thing that bugged me most was the beam struggle in BT 2, not only was it hard to win, but it was poor to begin with. You weren't able to shoot your beam against a Ki ball, normally the ball or the blast would be destroyed when they clashed. But now, you are able to shoot your basic beam against a Ultimate Attack, like the Omega Blast from Broli!!!! This makes this game AWESOME already!

Graphics.

Some changes have been made, but not significant once. It looks basically still like BT2, with some minor changes.

Sound.

The Japanese version has the original Dragonball soundtracks, from the Japanese Anime. This version sadly contains in my opinion **** techno cross rock tracks. Seriously, when I play Dragonball I want the the damn, original music with it. I mean; I have nothing against rock tracks when it comes to Dragonball. Budokai 1 had the best soundtracks in video-game history. But I don't wanna be a downer now, some tracks are awesome but the majority is just a lame mix. Also, not to forget, are the voices, they suck, they are boring. I'm talking about the funi dub version of course. When you have enough of the crappy voices of the funi version, just go to 'Sound' in Option and change it to Japanese, and have a great **** blast, because they actually putted effort into the voice acting, amazing all I can say.

Value.

Five words: Best **** DB game ever.

Gameplay: 10/10.

Graphics: 9/10.

Sound: 8/10. (8, because of the Japanese voice option, otherwise it would be a 7).
