This is the best Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi in the series. Maybe the best in 9 years. It's been 9 years since the first Dragon Ball was released on the Playstation, delivering one of the worst fighting games ever. The series changed alot from that. Most impacted in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3. Still I think this one is better. You can now play with more than 150 characters. Even the story is better, much better. In DBZ BT 2, the story was poorly told and it was horrible. Problem is that it tells the DB legends one more time. I've heard and saw them many times and know the legends with hard. An other good addition is the Night System. This Night System can let you transform into a Great Ape, if you're a Saiyan and have a tail. The story is tough too. I'm stuck in the second battle. Even the Duel mode, set as very weak, opponent are still tough, much tougher than DBZ BT 2. But the game has poor sound effects and some characters are the same as the previous DBZ game. Same finishers practically. Punching enemies was fun in the other ones but in this game it takes too long to make a punch, letting the time to your enemy to attack you. But it is still a great fighting game.
