This game is the best Dragon Ball Z/GT game there is, it improves in technique and controls. With 42 playable characters and a new defensive way of actually being able to DODGE punches, kicks and ki blasts it's hard to say this game does not deserve at least a 9.5/10. The story mode is followed well and the way you maneuver is fairly different from other Budokai games so it provides somewhat of a different experience. The fighting system has improved to make the game like the show, and I can't say this enough...THE DEFENSE SYSTEM IS GREAT! Dodging attacks makes it possible to make a come back without spamming specials, it takes some skill to time the punches and kicks so it is in no way noob friendly. I believe it is a whole lot better than the new Tenkaichi series and Raging blast. Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 has set the bar EXTREMELY high and I think it may be impossible to surpass for any other Dragon Ball game. I highly suggest this game if you feel like buying a PS2 game for 5$ this is the game to get!
